Drosera capensis alba - 'Cape Sundew'

Drosera capensis alba is a pale/white-flowered form of the Cape Sundew. Like the typical form, it is an easy carnivorous plant that uses sticky dew-covered leaves to trap small insects.

Care: Use only distilled, reverse-osmosis, or rain water. Keep the media consistently moist to wet, often by standing the pot in a shallow tray of water. Grow in very bright light with direct sun or strong grow lights for best growth.

Soil: Use nutrient-poor carnivorous plant media, such as peat-based media with perlite or sand. Do not use regular potting soil or fertilizer.

Pet safety: Sundews are generally considered non-toxic, but they should not be eaten or handled excessively.
